​​ORS 130.650: The trustee shall administer the trust in good faith, in accordance with its terms and purposes and the interests of the beneficiaries.

Standard duties of a trustee include:

• Administering the trust according to the terms of the trust and according to governing law.

• Managing and investing trust assets.  

• Communicating with beneficiaries.

• Making distributions to beneficiaries as appropriate.

• Maintaining proper accounting of the trust assets.

• Filing and paying any taxes due.
